Tour highlights

  • Meet us at Rynok Square to visit the must-see sights of old town, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
  • Walk on cobblestone streets as we explore the four districts of medieval Lviv – Ruthenian, Jewish, Armenian, and Polish.
  • Find the famous Black House and Bandinelli palace (home of a shifty business man and Lviv’s first post office), and the Palace of Greek merchant Kornyakt featuring a romantic Italian courtyard.
  • Visit the old Armenian quarter, with a unique Armenian church, famous for its serene and mystical atmosphere.
  • Learn how small doctrine differences between the catholic and orthodox Lviv residents translated to huge differences in lifestyle and opportunities in the Ruthenian quarter and its Orthodox church
  • From there, we will walk along the remnants of Lviv’s medieval defensive walls to explore the Jewish quarter.
  • Finally, take pictures in front of the most famous building in Lviv – the Lviv Opera House on the central Avenue of Liberty and discover hidden gems that make Lviv unique.
